About me
My name is Pebbles and ever since I was little I doodled A LOT in class.
I grew up and had my own children and worked with small children daily.
They inspired me with their approach to art. They enjoyed the process with such joy- something we sadly lose during the years of being told when, how and what to draw. I started doodling again with a child’s abandon in mind. These doodles turned into more drawings with a variety of paints, pastels, and markers. My mom saw one of my pictures one day and said, “If that was on a card, I’d buy it.” It took a while, but I got the confidence to print some pictures into cards....and to my surprise, people bought them. This is how Art by Pebbles was born. I paint whimsical pictures and turn these into prints, cards, and merch. I am also lucky enough to continue to be inspired by children every day. I am excited to keep going on this adventure and trying new mediums and styles and making more art to share.
